FEATURE 1
Intelligent Glass Identification and Sorting
The system quickly and accurately detects incoming glass, then intelligently compares and optimizes the sorting sequence according to the selected rack mode and work order.

The DISAI DS-LP-V Series is designed to organize glass panels before insulating glass production. Based on work orders and configured sorting rules, the system supports glass pairing, sequencing and planned output between production stages.

Organized Vertical Sorting for Insulated Glass Production
In an insulated glass factory, glass lites often need to be sorted according to the next operation, such as pairing, edge grinding, glazing or spacer-related processing. When different sizes and orders are mixed together, manual searching can slow the line and increase the risk of selecting the wrong piece. The DISAI DS-LP-V Vertical Glass Sorting Machine provides a structured sorting solution for keeping glass in the required order.
DS-LP-V is designed for glass sorting applications where clear sequence management, quick identification and efficient handling are important. Its vertical layout uses production space effectively while creating a dedicated position for glass waiting for the next process.
Three Working Modes for Different Production Needs
DS-LP-V supports three application modes to match different production routines.
Pairing Mode
Pairing mode is suitable for an insulating glass line. Glass can be sent to the rack sorting system according to the required pairing sequence, so the correct pieces are available in order for insulated glass unit production.
Sequence Mode
Sequence mode is suitable when glass must be sorted according to a pre-arranged processing order. The system helps operators follow the planned sequence instead of searching through mixed glass manually.
Efficiency Mode
Efficiency mode is suitable for work before edge grinding or glazing. Small batches or oversized glass can be arranged in the corresponding rack, helping the production team supply the next process in a more organized way.
These modes allow the machine to be matched to different production needs rather than forcing every factory to use one fixed sorting method.
Fast Positioning and Intelligent Matching
After glass enters the system, DS-LP-V supports inspection, identification and sorting based on the planned production information. This helps the operator confirm where each lite belongs and reduces uncertainty when multiple orders are being processed.
The machine can support continuous glass transfer and intelligent matching according to the production sequence. For a factory handling frequent changes in glass size or order, this makes the sorting process easier to follow and manage.
Vertical Rack Arrangement That Uses Working Space Effectively
By arranging glass vertically in racks, DS-LP-V creates a compact sorting area between production processes. Defined rack positions make stored glass easier to identify, while the vertical arrangement is well suited to production lines where floor space needs to be used efficiently.
Depending on the line layout and handling method, the system can be configured with a vertical transfer platform, a vertical detection bench, mobile racks, and manual or automatic loading and unloading sections.
Better Sequence Control for Insulated Glass and Downstream Processes
DS-LP-V helps connect glass receiving, inspection and sorting with the next production step. Instead of leaving each piece in an arbitrary position, the system keeps the planned order visible and structured. This is useful for pairing glass for insulated glass units, preparing glass for edge grinding, and organizing glass for glazing or other follow-up work.
Better sequence control can also make communication between cutting, sorting and insulating glass teams clearer. Operators can spend less time looking for the next lite and more time keeping the line moving.
Flexible Handling for Manual or Automatic Operation
DS-LP-V can be configured with manual or automatic loading and unloading options, depending on the customer’s workflow. This gives glass processors a practical path to introduce intelligent sorting into an existing line or to build it into a more automated production layout.
The recommended configuration depends on the glass dimensions, glass thickness, rack arrangement, handling direction and connection with upstream and downstream equipment.
